About Us

China-Turkey Trade Development Center
The China-Turkey Xinjiang Trade Development Center was established to enhance and foster trade relationships between Türkiye and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR) of China. As trade between Türkiye and Xinjiang has seen substantial growth over the last decade, this center serves as a vital platform for Turkish companies seeking access to the Chinese market, particularly through the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Located in the Urumqi Free Trade Zone near the region's largest exhibition center, our facility is strategically positioned to facilitate seamless connections with domestic and international stakeholders.
Our Purpose
Our mission is to act as a gateway for Turkish enterprises, enabling them to tap into emerging market opportunities within Xinjiang and beyond. We aim to strengthen trade relationships by building upon cultural and historical ties, leveraging Türkiye’s renowned craftsmanship, and fostering an environment conducive to collaboration and innovation. The center is aimed to supporting businesses by creating a robust framework that benefits both the Turkish and Chinese economies.

The Future of Trade
As China’s Belt and Road Initiative strengthens trade links across Central Asia and Europe, Türkiye’s strategic geographical position as a bridge between Europe and Asia enables it to play a significant role in these trade routes. The center is committed to exploring these opportunities and facilitating business ventures that contribute to sustainable growth in both regions.
